An avid gardener and runner, Robert and his wife, Lucy, have four children and one grandchild. His favorite quotation – and personal credo – is, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

EXPERIENCE

For more than 20 years, Mr. Leary had litigated and defended civil cases for many different insurance companies and self-insured corporations before joining Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak in 2006. He has successfully obtained summary judgment for several of his clients, and achieved outright dismissals of claims against them following trial. He has earned a strong reputation as an outstanding oral advocate of his clients in both the appellate and lower courts.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Robert recently retired with the rank of captain from the United States Navy Reserve after 30 years of service to his country, and his personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, two Navy Commendation Medals, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
