Brendan joined KSLN as an Associate in 2019 and is active within all of the firm’s practice areas, though he most commonly handles matters involving self-insured and insurance defense litigation, labor law, medical, dental, and professional malpractice defense litigation, and business and corporate law.
Brendan is a native of Western New York, having grown up in the small town of Gasport, New York, where he attended Royalton-Hartland High School and was named the Salutatorian of his graduating class. Brendan went on to receive his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University at Buffalo, where he majored in Economics, with a minor in Sociology. While at the University at Buffalo, he was a member of the University at Buffalo Honors College, served as an Economics Debate Team Leader, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and participated in the Sociology Department’s 2015 Study Abroad Program in London, U.K.
In 2018, Brendan earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law, with a concentration in Cross Border Legal Studies. During law school, Brendan was a Note and Comment Editor on The Buffalo Law Review, a graduate of the 2017 New York City Program on Finance and Law, and competed in Bogota, Colombia, as a member of the School of Law’s ELSA World Trade Organization Moot Court Competition team. He additionally served as a Faculty Research Scholar, during law school, and was the proud recipient of the Buffalo Law Review Associate Publication Award for Excellence in Writing.
