PROFILE
John is responsible for all aspects of accounting for the firm. This includes the preparation of periodic financial reports and maintenance of a system of accounting records, monitoring a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, and insuring the accuracy of financial results and that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

John joined Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak in 2014. John is a Certified Public Accountant with diversified experience in auditing and financial management. John has worked in public accounting providing audit, accounting and consulting services. Most recently with EFP Rotenberg, LLP, a top one hundred CPA firm. Prior to that, John served as Deputy Comptroller for Erie County, was a member of the Corporate Audit and Operational Analysis department of Xerox Corporation and has his auditing roots as a bank examiner for Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company.

John is married with two adult sons. He and his wife, Michele are thrilled to be grandparents of a granddaughter and grandson to keep the family growing. John is an avid Buffalo sports fan, as well as a fan of the New York Yankees. John enjoys playing golf but has confessed that his playing talent does not match his love of the game.
