AMANDA L. MACHACEK

Amanda is a partner at KSLN where she focuses her practice primarily on complex civil litigation matters throughout New York State and Pennsylvania. As one of the leaders of the Construction Risk Management practice group, she represents project owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, as well as design professionals in all aspects of construction-related litigation, including design and construction defects, design delegation issues, business interruption and non-payment claims, professional liability claims and complex contractual disputes. She also specializes in handling commercial premises liability cases, additional insured coverage matters, and complex defense and indemnification issues, and is known for frequently helping other legal professionals and clients with how to properly handle Medicare and other lien issues affecting personal injury settlements. Amanda is also known for her proven track record of successfully recovering attorney’s fees and defense costs incurred by her clients to make them whole after finding themselves the target of a lawsuit, and for delivering unparalleled customer service to her clients.

She earned her B.S., Pre-Law, cum laude, from the State University of New York, University at Buffalo and her J.D., cum laude, from the University at Buffalo Law School. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, Western New York Chapter.

Amanda is an avid fly-fisherwoman and equestrian, and an active alumna with Leadership Niagara.  She is also co-chair of the firm’s growing Law Clerk program.
