Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Shannon T. O’Connor as a partner in the Syracuse office, specializing in police and municipality law, employment law, commercial litigation and insurance defense.
A recognized leader in municipal law and government litigation, Shannon has built a distinguished 14-year career representing municipalities, public officials, school districts, private entities and nonprofit organizations in complex legal matters, including constitutional law, civil rights litigation and employment disputes. She has litigated and worked on cases of first impression that have been instrumental in shaping policies related to police use of force, law on searches in schools, workplace compliance and civil service law.
Shannon is a Syracuse University College of Law graduate and, outside of the courtroom, enjoys watching sports, seeking outdoor adventures and cooking.
