ATTORNEY PROFILE
Bruce brings over forty years of experience to KSLN. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Special Education, Special Needs, Estate Planning, Not-for-Profit Corporations, and Health Law. Bruce is the head of the department that advises individuals, their families, and community organizations and employees that serve people with special needs in the Education and Human Services fields.
Bruce has co-authored the treatise on Educating Students with Disabilities: An Analysis of Federal Law (LRP Publications) and Legal Rights of Persons with Disabilities: An Analysis of Federal Law (LRP Publications). He also has been a contributing attorney for the National Disability Law Reporter (LRP Publications) and member of the Board of Advisors of IEP Team Trainer (LRP Publications). Bruce also has extensive experience in the areas of Wills, Estates and Probate Law, including the creation of special needs trusts. He is also widely accomplished in Not-for-Profit Corporation law as both an incorporating attorney and as general counsel for a number of corporations.
Bruce enjoys spending time at his Ontario, Canada home on the shores of Lake Erie during the summer and during long weekends the rest of the year. He also enjoys traveling to Pittsburgh with his wife, Betsy, to visit his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
