Karl Daniel elected assistant treasurer of Defense Association of New York

Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak, LLC associate Karl Daniel was recently elected as the assistant treasurer of the Defense Association of New York (DANY).

"I am honored to have been selected as assistant treasurer,” Karl says. “I have learned much from this organization and its members. Being part of the leadership that supports and advances continuing legal education, diversity and justice for all in the civil justice system is a true honor.”

KSLN has been actively involved with DANY – the largest group of defense attorneys, insurers and Judges in New York State – for decades. Tom Liptak, a founder and managing partner of KSLN, is the past president and immediate past chair of the DANY Board of Directors.

Karl’s election as an officer positions the Buffalo native to be elected DANY’s second president from Upstate New York.

DANY has served New York's Civil Defense Bar and legal community since 1965, bringing together attorneys and qualified non-attorneys who devote substantial professional time to the handling of litigated cases, primarily for the defense.
