Karl Daniel represents insurance carriers, businesses, and other clients in civil litigation throughout New York. His practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, including general liability, automobile and transportation claims, premises liability, construction accidents and defects, and other casualty matters. Karl handles matters at every stage of litigation, from early case assessment and claims evaluation through discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, trial, and appeal. He takes a strategic, practical approach to each case, working to identify potential exposure early and develop cost-effective defense strategies aligned with his clients’ legal and business objectives.
Known for his meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful approach to litigation, Karl works closely with insurance carriers, claims professionals, businesses, and other stakeholders to evaluate risk and protect their interests. He prioritizes clear communication and responsive case management, ensuring clients understand their options and remain informed throughout the legal process. Karl has successfully defended numerous high stakes matters and strives to achieve favorable outcomes while keeping each client’s broader financial and business considerations in focus.
A Buffalo native, Karl was born and raised in Western New York and attended St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Canisius College in 2012 and his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida, in 2019.
Outside of his legal practice, Karl enjoys playing ice hockey and golfing.
