Nelson E. Schule, Jr., a Partner in the Firm's Buffalo office, received the John W. Cegielski Award for Civility in Trial Practice given by the WNY Trial Lawyer's Association in recognition of outstanding civility in the practice of law. The award is given to a member of the Association who not only is an experienced trial attorney but who actively tries cases to conclusion and whose practice is consistently characterized by civility, fairness, and respect for opposing counsel. The first recipient was John W. Cegielski after whom the award is now named was given in 2006.
