
Alex is a Partner in the Insurance Coverage Group and joined KSLN in 2019. He lives in Rochester, attended undergrad at the University at Buffalo, and obtained his J.D. from Cornell Law School. During law school, he interned for the late Chief U.S. District Judge Michael A. Telesca (W.D.N.Y.).
As Partner at KSLN, Alex represents insurance carriers in navigating complex coverage disputes, from pre-suit evaluations to high-stakes litigation. His practice focuses on analyzing and litigating claims under Commercial General Liability (CGL), renters, homeowners, and condominium policies. In both state and federal courts, he advocates for carriers on issues like additional insured coverage, bad faith allegations, first-party property claims, and policy disclaimers. His role is centered on providing strategic counsel to safeguard carrier interests and ensure favorable outcomes in challenging disputes.
Prior to joining KSLN, Alex worked on complex class action litigation. In his free time, he enjoys cooking for his wife Daniele and their daughter Margot, and walking their two dogs, Lulu and Chico.
