Walker is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on representing insurance carriers and insurance producers, agents, and brokers. His practice extends to coverage matters, defense of insurance producers in E&O matters and regulatory compliance matters impacting both carriers and producers. Walker has experience handling matters involving CGL, excess and umbrella, directors and officers, professional liability, and first-party property coverage, as well as matters relating to excess and surplus lines policies and surety bonds.
Walker has represented clients at all stages of litigation and in courts in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Walker’s practice also includes assisting carriers in pre-litigation matters, including evaluating claims and responding to insureds who may kick back in response to a declination of coverage. While litigation is often necessary, good advice on the strength of your coverage position or E&O defense, or a well-drafted response to a “push back” letter can often help you reach a resolution without the need or cost of protracted litigation.
