Tom Cunningham is a former KSLN partner (1997-2001) and current of counsel attorney. He focuses on civil and commercial mediation.
Tom brings more than 30 years of valuable knowledge and experience litigating personal injury and insurance coverage cases. In three decades as a litigator, he has worked with many plaintiffs’ attorneys and insurance company representatives to resolve thousands of cases. He has also participated in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations.
His core areas include automobile and motorcycle accidents; catastrophic injuries; child victims act/sexual abuse; construction defect litigation; contract disputes; insurance coverage disputes; nursing home neglect/abuse; NYS labor law sections 240(1), 241(6), 200; premises liability; product liability; trucking and bus accidents; and wrongful death.
Tom retired from full-time practice of law in 2022 and started his own civil and commercial mediation service, Cunningham Mediation, handling complex insurance coverage matters and catastrophic personal injury cases.
Outside of the courtroom, Tom’s interests include golf, pickleball, and guitar. He was the founder and captain of his Ride for Roswell Team and for more than 10 years, as well as a member of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation Community Advisory for 10 years.
