We are thrilled to announce and welcome Aalok J. Karambelkar, Aaron M. Adoff, Anant Kishore, and Brent C. Seymour as KSLN’s newest Partners. Each has made significant personal and professional contributions to KSLN through their hard work and dedication, and are integral parts of KSLN's future.
Aalok joined KSLN in 2014 as an Associate in the firm’s Insurance Defense Group. Since joining KSLN, Aalok has focused his practice area in the defense of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and construction accident claims, handling all aspects of litigation from inception through jury trial verdict. He remains an integral part of the firm’s trial defense team and was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2018 and 2019. Prior to returning to Western New York in December of 2014, Aalok began his practice in plaintiff’s personal injury and civil rights litigation, working at a boutique law firm in Brooklyn, New York and litigating cases in both state and federal court.
Aaron joined Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak in 2013 as an Associate. Prior to joining KSLN, he gained considerable experience in all areas of civil litigation while working with another area law firm, and had the opportunity to work for Hon. Patrick H. NeMoyer, J.S.C., as a volunteer student law clerk during law school. Before pursuing a career in law, Aaron served as a Medic in the US Army from 1994-1997.
Anant practices in both state and federal court in civil and commercial litigation matters. His civil litigation practice focuses on representing construction site owners and contractors in cases arising out of worksite accidents. Anant’s commercial litigation practice includes representing business and individuals in breach of contract and breach of warranty matters, including under the UCC and under the common law. He also has experience in many other types of commercial and corporate litigation matters, including: intellectual property litigation, corporate governance disputes, professional liability defense, and property tax assessment litigation.
Brent joined KSLN after several years of practicing insurance defense litigation with another local firm. After graduating cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, he has worked diligently to become a successful trial attorney with a history of gaining a high number of defense verdicts. Brent is currently a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, the New York State Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Western New York Defense Trial Lawyers Association and the Erie County Bar Association. He is responsible for civil litigation including automobile and trucking negligence, premises liability, products liability, toxic tort and environmental claims and construction defect claims.
